Aaarrghh. Does anyone know how to 'wake up' a dreamy child?

DS is 6 and has absolutely no sense of urgency at all. He just mosies on through life.

To be fair to him, he is very very sweet and it is lovely to have conversations about that shape of cloud etc etc but he can be so wrapped up in thinking that he'll be standing in his pants with one sock on pondering the inner workings of Spiderman's talents while we're all ready to leave. Don't even get me started on the lost property!

I just want him to have a little bit of get up and go around him!

Time blindness?

It's a thing.
