We are going today and I was wondering if anyone has any helpful tips or advice on getting the most out of the day?

Thank you

Go down to the boats and cars first . The queues are always worst there.

Starlight456 · 12/04/2019 06:45

I think there is an app also for ride times

Buy a qbot. Bonkers to go without one in school holidays

Thanks all.

Is the Q Bot regular a good option to buy?

Don't go! It's hideously awful in the school holidays, even with a Q-Bot (unless you get the top-of-the-range one).
Much better to go on a term-time inset day instead if you can.

FraggleRocking · 12/04/2019 07:12

Get there early.
Get the app.
Read the map in the queue so you know where you’re going.
If it’s not too late take snacks and eat in the queues.
Be prepared to only go on 3 rides all day.
Take lots of money! Qbots and shop are expensive.
If the queues get too much, take a break and just enjoy a wander around miniature land. It’s quite good.

Probably sounds quite negative. I personally think Legoland let too many people in for the number of rides they have. Hope your day is good though!

My kids love legoland but I would never ever go in school holidays unless you buy a qbot!

My son is SEN and we get given a qbot for the day and manage to get on loads of stuff.

Take a pack lunch the food is over priced. There’s a couple of shows which are good, we always sit down to watch one and eat then.

They have a new ride so I would probably do that one first.

Iv been about 5 times but I always find it cheaper go to for 2 days and 1 night for £160 staying at a local hotel with breakfast.

Or the sun will be doing tickets soon.

It might not be so bad. The new ride opens this weekend, we went on Saturday just gone and it was fairly quiet. The weather wasn’t so great on Saturday though so that might account for it. Take food with you - it’s expensive to eat there and the food’s not great! I’ve never bothered with a Qbot and would only consider it if you get there and it’s completely rammed.

WaitrosePigeon · 12/04/2019 07:46

I’ve bought the QBot Express for the four of us. Myself and my two kids and my sons friend who has autism and ADHD. I’m hoping as there is a new ride opening tomorrow that today may be quieter...

The pirate show is good, there is a 4d cinema and my little ones like the puppet show too which is what we do when it's busy.

We go a lot and normally go for Ninjago first but fire engine, dragon rollercoasters, coastguard, laser ride and driving school also get big queues so chose your favourite and go for that first. Your QBots will obviously help! I've never had one and always had a good day anyway.

2rachtint · 12/04/2019 21:45

@WaitrosePigeon did you have a good day?

WaitrosePigeon · 13/04/2019 10:36

Hey!

We had a an amazing day. Expensive day though. Around £500...

That was 3 annual passes, a day pass, 4 QBot Express, food and any extra’s.

However with those QBot Express the most we had to wait was about 5 mins. We went on pretty much every ride (not enough time in the day!) and some of them twice.

If you can afford to spend the extra for the QBot it is well worth it.

Thanks for all the advice everyone :)

Brilliant! I've just started collecting the sun vouchers for some free day passes as my annual pass is about to expire and not renewing it :(
