The bloke who shouts every morning outside Westminster

Who is he? He's very committed isn't he. How has he not lost his voice yet Confused

Intensely irritating.

Mississippilessly · 11/04/2019 08:16

To be fair it adds to the bizarreness if the whole situation. Every morning I wake up, stupefied from lack of sleep (thanks DS), we trot downstairs, turn breakfast on and hear about how the crucial night's for May had left more questions than answers. And that man shouts.
All the above happen every single morning. I feel like Bill Murray.

TheQueef · 11/04/2019 08:17

That's Steve.
Nooooooo Brexit.

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 11/04/2019 08:18

On Breakfast, Ann Marie Morris has just said "he's paid to"

Langrish · 11/04/2019 08:20

Agree with his message (if you’re talking about the no brexit man) but if he’s also the one that follows MPs along shoving his phone in their face and recording them, that’s out of order.

SouthernComforts · 11/04/2019 08:21

Oh I missed that. That was my next question, does he not have work?? Wonder who's paying him.

Grin at Groundhog day, that's exactly what it's like. Quite comforting in a way. I'd worry if he wasn't there tomorrow.

Omg is he there every morning? I rarely go past westimisnter but went recently and saw a man wrapped in a flag shouting ‘no brexit’, I was surprised there was still protestors this long after - but every morning?! That’s commitment! He looked very odd amid all the many many armed guards that were there, is that a regular occurrence now too?

Redorangeyellowgreen · 11/04/2019 08:22

@mississipilessly do you live on parliament square?!

SouthernComforts · 11/04/2019 08:25

Like a pp I only hear him on BBC breakfast when they interview outside. It may not be every single morning, I should start a spreadsheet.

I imagine he thought he would gain some supporters over time and the numbers would grow, but they didn't, and now it's too awkward to stop.

TheQueef · 11/04/2019 08:25

They make a point of not filming him, the best part of brexit imo and I like his hat.

ThanosSavedMe · 11/04/2019 08:27

I like him

Apoiads · 11/04/2019 08:29

I've never seen this dude.

Mississippilessly · 11/04/2019 08:29

RedOrangeYellowGreen no I just turn BBC Breakfast on? I'd LOVE to live in Parliament Square. I could take DS to listen to the incessant arguing - he would definitely fall asleep then.

Hubblebubbletripletrouble · 11/04/2019 08:31

YES HE IS THERE EVERY FUCKING DAY. 😭 I work there. I can hear it through the windows but god forbid I want fresh air in and want to open the window. Arghhhh.

Shadycorner · 11/04/2019 08:33

That's Steve Bray of SODEM.

LividLaughLove · 11/04/2019 08:34

I never watch live TV but am in a B&B and this was just on in the breakfast room: couldn’t tell what he was shouting but I was quite enjoying him!

stillpinching · 11/04/2019 08:35

Isn't he crowd funded? I think he's great and I particularly like it when they are interviewing on the green and pretend they can't hear him as they bore on about the will of the people.

SouthernComforts · 11/04/2019 09:06

Love the wiki page. The bit that explains article 50 then follows up with "Steve was incensed." So British.

I saw Jon snow ask (well, shout at him) to be quiet the other night. And he was.

I bet even he didn’t think he’d STILL be there.
