Have had to take my mum for a hospital appt , I’m waiting for her now and can’t cope . Feel too hot and faint . Not sure how to calm down again , I get palpitations and I’m scared I’m ill and just don’t realise it .

can you do something to distract? anything to read? chew gum? count something in the room? look for patterns in something? listen to music and hum? things like this can help take the edge off sometimes for me. hope you feel better soon.

Close your eyes and just breathe just focus on the feel of the chair, feeling the ground with your feet, listen to your breathing and just try and block out any other noise.

On a side note I had hypnotherapy for anxiety and it’s heloed loads, plus I have recordings I can whack on if I need them. I haven’t yet
