Hotels near Great Ormond St hospital

We are staying over night soon prior to a procedure and wondered if anyone has any recommendations for somewhere to stay within 15 mins or so walking distance and ideally closeish to an NCP (this may not be possible but that's ok, one of us will drive to NCP if needed and tube it to wherever we are staying)

We regularly drive to GOSH with no probs so will be driving and not getting train, and we know parking will be expensive as will the hotel

GOSH provide a list I will work through but wondered if anyone has any personal experience

Have you looked on their website to see if there is one nearby?

There's a nice Premier Inn on Red Lion St, which is a couple of streets away. There are lots of hotels on the Kingsway, and around Russell Square but they are a bit more expensive.

When we go to GOSH we always park at the holiday inn on Bernard street. That might be worth a look. It’s 5 mins walk to the hospital and is next to the shops restaurants and cinema on the little complex there.

We stayed in the President Hotel when were last there (actually for the neurological hospital - but that's next to GOSH) it was a decent place - pleasant rooms, nice breakfast, places near to eat at night if you need to.
