Anyone know what fish this is?

Just that really, inherited some fish and were told they're guppies but not sure they look like any pictures we can find on Google. Also, do they look pregnant?

They look like Molly's.

Yep, that’s a pregnant molly!

Definitely Mollies. In the second pic the one at the top is a male and the one below is a very pregnant female.
They give birth to live young, but be warned they will eat most of them!

Agree, molly. Guppies tend to have fan like tails which droop slightly. Fish are buggers for cannibalising their own young. My pond goldfish ate all their own babies, mixed feelings on that, we’d be overrun if they hadn’t, but ugh!

How big is your aquarium? I’d want to add some colour, some neon tetras, just to be predictable!

You can buy a little nursery tank - a small box like thing that the babies go into inside the main tank until they're too big to be gobbled up.

They're not expensive.

Will buy a small nursery for them then. @Cherrysoup we've just added 6 neon tetras and a couple of sucky fish to the algea. It's a 70ltr tank so plenty of space for the fish we do have, but I think we'd be overrun with anymore!

Sucky fish!! Love it! 😂 Loaches? Brilliant little workers. You can get a double felted magnet to clean the sides, I used to love doing that on dad’s tanks. He specified the house build around them, bit keen!

It's a bristlenose catfish according to DP, we've got the magnet to clean the tank top I don't want to have fish and then not look after them properly, so hopefully we are doing everything right! at your dad!
