What flavour B&J would you recommend?

Never had it but have a voucher so going to treat us to some for the weekend Smile

My all time favourite was the Jamaica Me Crazy sorbet. As a poor, impoverished student I used to pay more than an hours wage for a tub from the local corner shop. Chocolate Macadamia was also a firm favourite, also long since departed to the Flavour Graveyard (it's a thing, Google it for some nostalgia!)

Phish Food

LikeACowsOpinion · 09/04/2019 21:30

Love is... my absolute fave.

EngagedAgain · 09/04/2019 21:38

I haven't heard of phish food. I like the mini tubs, 1- because it's just the right amount for me, and 2- I get the tub out to soften it, there's no struggling to get it out, though I am sure most of you will eat a big tub 😬😬. Also I wait til they are half price. Taste much nicer somehow ☺️

DoneLikeAKipper · 09/04/2019 21:38

Either Topped Salted Caramel or the Blondie/Brownie Core for me. The new Sofa So Good one is nice, gets a bit too sweet after a few mouthfuls though, in my opinion. Half Baked is the classic, you’ll never go wrong trying that one.

EngagedAgain · 09/04/2019 21:42

64'snewname, yes I wonder how many diets these threads have messed up. Last week I brought crisps I have not eaten in ages to make a crisp sandwich. Not just one - I will have to have 6, (in the pack)

Kintan · 09/04/2019 21:59

Another vote for Phish Food :)

lizzie1970a · 09/04/2019 22:02

Phish Food in tubs is ok but I loved the ice cream bar. Haven't seen one in years. Haagen Dazs strawberry cheesecake beats all B&J flavours though.

AnotherRubberDuck · 09/04/2019 22:26

@JoyceDivision Yes! I'm amazed at how lovely it is actually.

nauseous5000 · 10/04/2019 15:58

Definitely half baked! Can't have it in the house or I could eat the whole tub!

PointlessUsername · 10/04/2019 16:00

Birthday cake.

Ginkythefangedhellpigofdoom · 10/04/2019 16:04

Iv not had a lot of them because they don't take my fancy but if I get one it's either chocolate fudge brownie or phish food.

BrennieGirl · 10/04/2019 16:17

Wow so many Phish Food lovers! I don't like chocolate ice cream so it's not on my favourites list.

There used to be a flavour called chubby hubby which had pretzels stuffed with peanut butter. Any peanut butter cup fans would love it.

SilverySurfer · 10/04/2019 16:39

None, Haagen Daz is miles better.

EngagedAgain · 10/04/2019 18:43

Actually I just realised when posting earlier I meant Haagen Daz 😚 must have got muddled up. Think it has the edge on Ben and Jerry's. Hope I don't start a bun fight!

Toddlerteaplease · 10/04/2019 18:45

Phish food or birthday cake

CoraPirbright · 10/04/2019 18:47

Half-baked or cookie dough.

They used to do one called something like New York super fudge chunk which basically was vanilla with colossal bits of daim bar it it which was heaven. Also Dublin Mud Slide. But I think they have now discontinued them

Vagndidit · 10/04/2019 18:52

Cherry Garcia and Chubby Hubby still very much available in America. ;) My favourite B&J flavours of all time were New York Super Fudge Crunch and Chunky Monkey, ones that I've never seen here in the UK.
Beyond that, Phish Food is my drug of choice :)

Andylion · 10/04/2019 19:13

None, Haagen Daz is miles better.

I agree. I always found that B&J have too much going on, the ratio of ice cream to extras was off.

Having said that, if there is no HD in the store, I go for B&J chocolate fudge brownie with "If I had 1,000,000 Flavours coming in second.

blitzen · 10/04/2019 21:25

Currently eating Caramel Cookie Fix. Purchased due to it being on special offer. Nice but didn't realise it was low calorie 'moophoria' but it's actually quite nice for low cal. I still stick by Caramel chew Chew as the best one but so many good suggestions on here. Many on offer in Tesco right now!

ArabellaDoreenFig · 10/04/2019 21:29

Cherry Garcia - I haven’t had any for about 8 years and would pay ridiculous prices if I could get it imported somehow!!

And the peanut butter cup one- it’s really really good!

To be fair I’ve never tried a Ben and Jerry’s flavour I didn’t like though !

64sNewName · 10/04/2019 22:10

I bought some today (choc fudge brownie), and I will eat it all and I blame all of you. You and you and you

WhoChecksTheCheckers · 10/04/2019 22:14

I used to love Southern Peach from the cinema then it was discontinued about 15 years ago? I was gutted.

I LOVE Cherry Garcia but it’s only available at Odeon and so overpriced.

I like the Caramel Sutra Core one
