Which recommendations by MNers have you loved? And which were a bit "meh"?

I can think of two recent ones: a gorgeous reasonably-priced perfume, and one of those in-the-pan egg timers which has transformed dippy eggs for me!

What has worked for you?

Most recent thing was Astonish mould blaster spray for the brown marks under my loo seat (well, the one in the DCs’ bathroom Envy ) Worked like a charm.

I also get lots of TV/Netflix recommendations from MN. Dirty John was a recent favourite.

Bought the Hush black ruched jersey skirt a couple of years back, which MN raves about. It is nice but I’m not blown away by it, but maybe I don’t have the right style for it.

Astonish spray- duly noted!

Korean Italy towels!!! Amazing things.

Would you mind saying what the perfume is?
I bought an esprit dress that didn’t suit me, but it was nice, best thing was rosehip oil.

The Korean scrubby towels are great, the babylis big hair sits in the box giving me dirty looks because it’s rubbish & never gets used

Another vote for Astonish mould blaster. I’ve used it for a week and wonder how we ever managed without it.

Also Eborian CC cream and amazingly - Primark foundation. Don’t think my skin has ever looked quite so good.

RuffleCrow wrong thread by any chanceGrin or have you bought a lady on the recommendation of mumsnet?

BitOfFun · 08/04/2019 23:15

The perfume is Jade, by Yardley. It smells very like Chanel Cristalle, but is considerably less expensive! I have only tried a sample of Cristalle once, and I don't really remember it to be honest, but this perfume definitely has that distinctive aldehyde feature which seem common to Chanel perfumes.

Serum from The Ordinary

Babyliss Big Hair
