My 3 month old really struggled with trapped wind. When he needs to fart or poo he thrashes about with his whole body, face goes bright red and he makes this strained grunting/ screaming noise. It's horrible

How can I help him?

I use to pick mine up under the armpits so that they were facing me and then holding them still , gently swing their body back and forth, to and fro from me and that worked really well at bringing up wind.

There are some baby massages that you can try on the stomach area, which really seemed to help mine. Ask your health visitor to show you how to do it.
