Standard Remortgage. No copy of deed of trust.

We're in the process of a straightforward Remortgage, 25% LTV, only one x joint salary. I was asked to supply a copy of the deed of trust we had on place, I had to go to conveyancing solicitor who only had a copy. I've sent if off and mortgage company contacted me to say it's incomplete. It's only a two page document that states the deposits from me and at the time, boyfriend who is now DH. Old solicitor does not have anything else. I'm now worried I'll never be able to Remortgage again if this document is unsuitable!
Any conveyancers around that would know if this is going to be a problem?
