What toys did your 3 month old like?

My 3 month old only really has his playmat & a bouncer. Apart from a few teddies that he's not interested in that's it.

What did your 3 month old like? Is it worth buying anything else yet or too young?

A set of nesting silicone measuring spoons. He played with them more than all his actual toys put together!

My baby liked toys that make noise. Her favourites were set of bells and some wooden maracas. 😊👍🏻

At that age she didn’t really care for toys except maybe the odd empty loo roll tube!

She liked kitchen roll, waving clothes, rattles, holding fruit.

She also had jingle balls and adored her reach and play.

I just went back and looked at photos of DS at that age and most of the ones with toys were staged to send to the people who had kindly sent the toys....

Things he vaguely liked were a tummy time roller / bolster thing, plastic rings and a jellycat zebra toy with rings on the end.

At that age my daughter used to like those fabric books with the different textures.

She was interested in a wider variety of things once she could sit confidently at about 6/7 months. Then she loved stacking rings and cups, fabric blocks and those tomy eggs.

Nousernameforme · 08/04/2019 19:46

Sophie giraffe here as well. Can you still get whoozits? That one was quite well liked.

Dd mostly liked my boobs at that age. When I could convince her to be off for a few minutes she enjoyed anything she could scrunch/stroke with her hands. The fabric books with crunchy pages were a big hit and a yellow duck that vibrated when a string was pulled.

Honestly? My breasts and an offcut of scarlet taffeta that happened to be on the arm of the sofa one day that suddenly became everything for some reason. A couple of months later, he was all about a stuffed rabbit, but at three months, if he wasnt feeding or sleeping he was messing with that piece of bloody taffeta...
