What’s your opinion on it all? The fame the book the money making? Is it genuine or has this been planned all along? I can’t quite work it out!

I love that Gretel old lady filter she puts on. Grin She seems fun.

CutSomeRug · 08/04/2019 18:30

This is the Zoflora safety data sheet.

www.zoflora.co.uk/media/28211/zoflora-fresh-home.pdf

Like all concentrated disinfectants, it is pretty hazardous.

Whynham · 08/04/2019 18:32

Latest fad for the lazy thinker.

bringbacksideburns · 08/04/2019 18:33

I've heard that cleanliness is a middle class thing.

Eh? Hmm

I grew up watching my grandma doing a scrub wash - she was immaculate. She came from a generation of women who donkey stoned their steps and had pride in their homes and what little they had, earning a living cleaning for middle class women. When she gave me a bath when i was little she would raise my arm and scrub under my armput like she was cleaning socks on a scrubbing board Grin

Quite why that's a class issue in this context im unsure.

LovelyBranches · 08/04/2019 18:34

I like her. She seems nice and there are times when I really want to watch her stories and others when i’m not so into it but she seems like a kind woman.

In general I wish the Instagram trend for all grey houses would go because I like seeing variety in different rooms. I’d love it if she did her new nursery in a beautiful array of lovely colours, but we are all entitled to own own tastes and she is showing herself to be a powerful woman in her industry so all power to her elbow.

CutSomeRug · 08/04/2019 18:35

According to the data sheet (required by law), the Springtime fragrance contains a compound which may be hazardous to fertility. It is clearly documented in the data sheet.

All zofloras are also deadly to aquatic life, highly flammable and eye & skin irritants. People are mad to be glibly wiping every available surface in their homes with it.

LovelyBranches · 08/04/2019 18:36

I completely disagree that cleanliness is a middle class thing. I come from a very working class family and they are all spotless. My mother still regularly bleaches the pavement and step outside her front door let alone inside.

LimeKiwi · 08/04/2019 18:39

Cleanliness is a middle class thing?! Confused Grin

Mmkay, so does that make us non middle class dirty feckers lol?!

CutSomeRug · 08/04/2019 18:40

H361f is the H Phrase relating to fertility toxicity

Opinion on Mrs hinch?
jellybellybeanz · 08/04/2019 18:42

Not keen on her.

EdWinchester · 08/04/2019 18:43

I think she appeals to rather limited people.

Hollowvictory · 08/04/2019 18:44

I think you're right Ed but I like her and I'm not the hinching demographic. (Nb have never cleaned as a result)

CoffeeConnoisseur · 08/04/2019 18:49

Her kitchen is tiny, if mine was that small I’d also have it cleaned and sparking, top to bottom, in 5 minutes.

Good on her though, she’s doing the affiliate link thingy and has got her book out, she’s peaked right now so I don’t blame her for cashing in while she can.

Sparklingbrook · 08/04/2019 18:49

Watching her is a bit like mindlessly watching a TV programme like a soap while relaxing.
She was cleaning her washing machine filter today. I thought 'I should maybe do that' but I didn't.

JPK1510 · 08/04/2019 18:49

To the woman who said about her being pregnant and the zoflora effecting fertility as I said. Clearly I meant with prolonged use not fucking instant.

God everyone’s so quick to have a pop on here😂😩 was only asking for opinions as it’s very very mixed and I’m trying to understand better.

All planned.

LimeKiwi · 08/04/2019 18:52

She was cleaning her washing machine filter today. I thought 'I should maybe do that' but I didn't.

Same, I actually got as far as walking over to the washing machine, locating the filter thingy but chickening out of twisting it off in case it splurted water and gunk everywhere and I knackered it up Blush Grin
The intention to do it was there at least though lol

Hollowvictory · 08/04/2019 18:55

Why do you need to understand better op?
Someone started an Instagram account. It was successful. That's it.
Also it's 'affecting' not 'effecting'.

Sparklingbrook · 08/04/2019 18:55

Lime I hadn't got the tray thing to put underneath, but yes, it's the thought that counts. Grin
Also using the squeegee on the stairs looks good but I CBA to actually do it.

Sparklingbrook · 08/04/2019 18:56

I would rather watch Mrs Hinch than the bajillion Mummy bloggers with their shots of cups of tea and the back of their family.

Likethebattle · 08/04/2019 18:57

I grew up in a dirty messy house and my mother’s house is still filthy. I like her because she has shown me how to clean and what products to use. I was using elbow grease for years anyway. It’s hard for me as I was never shown how to be clean and tidy by my mum. My gran had an immaculate home and it kept like a show home, I think my mum was rebelling.

CutSomeRug · 08/04/2019 18:57

JPK, the Zoflora safety data sheet clearly states that some of the Zoflora varieties can potentially pose a risk to reproductive health. So anyone questioning you on that front is clearly on a hiding to nothing. It’s like saying that smoking can’t be a cancer risk factor because my nanna smoked for 60 years and only died when she got run over by a bus (i.e. totally irrelevant and proof of nothing).

scaredofthecity · 08/04/2019 18:58

It is completely set up. She had a very successful career in sales before, the hairdresser thing is just very recently. She's onto a good thing and makes a small fortune from all those ebayers...

That said I still kinda like her and can't help but watch her stories sometimes.

I do hate the way she overuses products and encourages others to stockpile though. How many bottles of zoflora, bin powders or bloody face masks do you need.

holly873 · 08/04/2019 18:59

There was a cleaning community on instagram long before Mrs Hinch then she suddenly appeared from nowhere with more followers than the established accounts. Fair play to her, she has done well for herself out of it and she has helped a lot of people out with housework motivation but she is not exactly offering any tips that are unknown of. Littlemissmops is better. She properly knows her stuff and not about bling and corny catchphrases like Mrs Hinch.

Sparklingbrook · 08/04/2019 19:00

Years ago I used to be part of the Flylady thing which was similar. Going to bed with a shiny sink etc...
