Is this a UTI?

For a week now I’ve needed to pee constantly. Within a few minutes of going I feel like I need to go again and my bladder never feels empty, but there’s no pain or burning which I’ve always had with UTIs.

Not pregnant unless it’s an immaculate conception!

I’ve also had random slightly raised temps throughout the day for the last week but then they just go (usually around 37, temp has been going up to 37.5 - 38 but no higher).

Haven’t had one for years - is there an easier way than taking up a gp appointment just to check? Can you buy test strips at pharmacies for example?

Can you not just hand a sample in to the surgery and ask them to get the nurse to dip it? That’s what happens at the surgery I work in then, if they need to speak to you, they phone or if they are just going to issue a prescription then reception will phone you and tell you it’s there to collect.
We request samples are in before lunch though as if they are being sent to the lab they are collected at lunch time.

Ooh I didn’t know that was possible! That’s much better than taking up an appointment- I will call them in the morning and see if this is possible.

Sounds like a UTI, the frequent need to urinate is the only symptom I get.
