Can anyone explain this?

First of all - hi sister! Yep this is me

I’ve not been on mumsnet for ages so changed my name, especially as this is particularly outing and my sister will know it’s me straight off,

Over the last couple of years or so my periods have got steadily worse, I had bad periods years ago, discovered I am gluten intolerant and everything was fine, but now, the bad periods are back,

Today for example, I have been sick, had diarrhoea, sweat so much it was dripping off me, then got very cold because I was in wet clothes, but, I couldn’t change them because I was exhausted and would get black spots infront of my eyes when i tried to move

It took me hours to get the strength up to leave the bathroom, and then I slept for hours, felt fine, and now it’s back again.

The cramps aren’t that bad for me it’s just everything that goes along with it,

I eat reasonably healthily, I’m only 31, I have no children, I’m not on any birth control (I can not tolerate the hormones I become a raging mess) and I’m relatively fit, does anyone have any ideas about what is happening and how I can stop it? I dread getting my period on a working day because I will physically be unable to go in.

Thank you

Also, I had an ultrasound a while ago and everything seemed to be fine, so it appears to be nothing medical as such.

Has this definitely been ruled out?

It has yes, I saw a gynaecologist years ago who ruled it out, I also looked into it myself a while back and the only symptom I have is the vomiting and diarrhoea, I’m glad to know I wasn’t on my own wondering about that though

I would ask for another ultrasound. You could have a cyst.

DharmaInitiativeLady · 07/04/2019 19:47

The first gynae I did a laparoscopy on me and said I had no endometriosis. Second gynae that did a laparoscopy on me 12 months later I was riddled with it so had a total hysterectomy and both tubes and 1 ovary out (11 weeks ago now)

DharmaInitiativeLady · 07/04/2019 19:48

Sorry, that made no sense. What I mean is, your symptoms sound a lot like endometriosis and perhaps you should be investigated again

HiSisteritsmeeee · 08/04/2019 05:51

I’ll certainly go back and ask about a cyst, I’m pretty sure it isn't endo, entirely because I don’t get the pain that I’ve heard comes with it, I barely feel the cramps and after day one of my period, I’m fine, but I’ll raise it with the dr in case, I’m sick of this happening every month so will look for it to be anything
