Things to do in London with teens in the evening?

We are having a couple of nights in London this week and have lots planned for the day but apart from eating dinner where can we take the 14 year olds in the evening that’s entertaining? Museums and galleries seem to close by 7 and obviously a lot of music venues are not suitable for under 18s. I’d ideally like to find something that’s not available at home so not standard bowling/cinema - any ideas gratefully received 😊

Go sightseeing from the top of s normal London bus. Not sure which routes but I believe there is one that takes several of the main ones in.

Tickets for a show? Some are ££££££ but you might be able to find some that are reasonable-ish.

And do check out some of the music venues - not all will be over 18s.

Some museums are open late on Friday nights. Cinema or bowling? There's fancy versions of both, something like the electric cinema or all star lanes.

A stroll along the southbank is nice at night, similarly you could go on the eye/shard?

A bus tour is a good idea - thanks! I have found that the national gallery is open til 9 on weds so that might be worth a look and we might do London eye I think... I looked at shows but it’s v expensive and there isn’t anything on I think both kids would love that we haven’t already seen.

If it’s not too cold we might hang about and see the street performers in Covent Garden Grin

I think the Tate galleries open until 10pm on a Friday and Saturday if that helps!

An evening visit to the Sky Garden. Fab views as the sun sets

Ghost bus or Jack the Ripper walk?

Walk along the south bank near royal festival Hall and enjoy the street performers. Also Namco namcofunscape.com/london

Swingers? (Crazy golf)
I'm sure there's a couple of room escape type things.

Most of the things that spring to mind for me are activities for over 18s, annoyingly.

There are some travelling funfairs set up at the moment for Easter - they can be open till 10 sometimes.

Nighttime trip on the London eye? Agree with the Sky Gardens.
Cable cars over the Thames, walk over the o2.
