Tattoos - what have you got?

I always joked that my midlife crisis would involve me getting a tattoo. Well, I just turned 40, and I'd quite like one. Not sure what though. I think I'd like, something small, something simple, somewhere not too on show. Also saw some white tattoos I liked, but I am incredibly pale, and wonder if it would just look like I had some sort of scar. I have three kids, maybe something to represent that?

What do you have? Or what would you like?

The elephant one looks like a fine art print! Do you cover it with sun block else it will fade?

My last ex had some tattoos but they were all a complete mess as he was always in the sun and never wore sun cream so his skin was like an old leather sofa!
