Any experienced vapers who can recommend a set up to me?

Years ago I quit smoking using a vape. I had an innokin itaste with variable voltage and then another, possibly a coolfire? After about a year I went through some trauma and started smoking again.

I quit yesterday and I have a vv mod that I picked up at a local garage and I’m using it with an old kanger tank I still have. At the moment I’m using high nicotine liquid (24mg or 18mg). It’s okay, but inconsistent, and the battery doesn’t last long.

I’ve been on the sites I used to use but everything is so confusing - things have obviously changed a lot in the five years since I used them often.

It seems most devices now are sub ohm but I don’t think I should get one for two reasons: it seems you need to use low nicotine liquid which isn’t ideal for me right now, plus I sometimes struggle with coughing when I inhale from a vape so I guess the stronger throat hit wouldn’t be good for me. These are just assumptions though as all the sales sites I’ve found are so cryptic.

My main concern is long battery life, coils that don’t burn out too fast, variable voltage and something that can take high level nicotine liquid until I can reduce it. Throat hit not too strong so I don’t choke would be good too.

Can anyone recommend something to me? I’m completely bewildered. Not sure if I’m right to avoid the sub ohm stuff which seems to be most of the mods these days.

This is the best I’ve done in giving up smoking for years and I don’t want to scupper it by having crap faulty equipment that dies on me!
