What to do with hands in a photo!

Family wedding tomorrow. My mother avoids photos as much as possible but she can't get out of these as my brother is the one getting married. She wants to know what to do with her hands in the photos. Any tips? And any other tips in general? She also wants to know with her hands when walking back down from bringing up the gifts. Thanks!
