Anyone had c-section, plus sterilisation?

Mine is looming.

I'm going for tube removal over clamping because of the benefits - increased chance of not falling pregnant, less likelihood of ovarian cancer in the future.

How was recovery for you? I'm interested to hear from people who have had a standard c-section also, so could compare the two.

Sorry to post in chat, I couldn't see the right place to post this and really would like replies this evening if possible.

My tubes were clamped (tubal ligation) during my 2nd c-section.
TBH, the pain from the tubal ligation was very distinct to me and more intense than my previous c-section... but worthwhile.
Just be gentle with yourself, take the painkillers that you are due, and enjoy your new addition to the family.

I want this done, did it take much convincing with your consultant?!
