Can anyone recommend a good site for penpals.? I was telling my kids I used to have a pen pal at school and my daughter aged 11 said she would love to write letters. So has anyone had any experience with any sites or have a child aged 11/12 who would like an Irish penpal?

I don't but I'm watching the thread. My dd1 is 10 and has special needs it's made it hard for her to make friends. She loves to write and writes letters to imaginary friends as she says they are the only type of friends she has.

longnight my DD said 'please can I write to longnights DD' PM if your DD is interested and they can get writing!
PH03b3 no I never kept in touch with mine she lived in the Netherlands I remember. My best friend at school had a penpal from America and they are still in touch to this day and are godparents to each other kids.
