Amazon Fire - apps not loading?

The kids have an Amazon Fire each. They're mainly used for travelling, so last week I've taken them out, charged them up and relearned how they work.... they're not exactly simple devices, I find myself going around in circles a lot.

We're flying tonight. 1 of them is working fine. The other, I cant get the Netflix or Kids iPlayer app to show on the Kids profile? They are both showing on the Parent profile. I've gone to
'Add Content', and both are showing as 'ticked' I've also restarted it, all to no avail. Both just don't appear under the Child profile.

Its so frustrating - they're the only two apps I really need to be on there! Any advice gratefully received TIA

You can't put then on the kids profile as they aren't 'amazon' apps. We had the same issue.

They are hard work to use too!

Thanks MCC85 - but I have them on the other Fire (we have 2, 1 for each DC) both on the Parent profile, and the Child profile. I've downloaded all the content I need on this one - So there will be 1 happy DC. The other one will make up for it though....

On the other however, Netflix and BBC kids iPlayer both uploaded on to Parent profile as well, but don't show on Childs profile, even though I've gone through Add Content. They show as ticked on this screen. Just don't appear on child profile......

I like that they are iron clad and DC cant look at anything I haven put on there BUT I find myself putting in the PIN about 57 times every time I try to upload something!

Anyone else - I've got til 5pm …….. and I'm getting twitchy

Try speaking to amazon! I found someone helpful when I was trying to set up my dc fire tablet! They are so complicated 🤷‍♀️

Urgh I'm going to have to. I have loads to do today and was hoping to avoid any kind of Customer Service telephone interaction.....

I love that they are iron clad, but the bloody pin, I'm sure ours is getting a dent in the screen where I keep having to enter it haha!

Meant to add, we were lead to believe you couldn't, but I'm off to play to see again now!

We have Netflix's and iplayer on ds kindle fire so you def can get it on there

Found the solution in case it is of use to anyone else - I had to delete the educational goals and they then appeared. Looks like the icons don't even show until the daily goals are fulfilled.
