Affordable parking near Hammersmith or piccadilly line

I'm looking at a job near Hammersmith and thinking about logistics. Does anyone know about reasonable parking either in Hammersmith or along the piccadilly line that I could use going west? I will need to drive part of the way as I don't live on a tube line (too far out of London)

Anyone?

Apologies for being that annoying person, but why would you drive? Hammersmith is really well connected by tubes and buses which would be much cheaper and faster.

If you are desperate to drive I would recommend using Just Park. I work in Hammersmith and I think the only paid parking is at the Novotel which is extortionate.

Westfield?

I think your best bet is to look at some of the tube stations at the far end of the line, nearest where you live, and see if any of them have decent station car parks at an affordable price. Even if you do drive a bit further in, you'll be constantly caught up in dreadful traffic adding time to your journey. Also I imagine that any roads near any of the stations will be in controlled parking zones.

I will drive because to take the train I will have to train into London Cross London by tube and then train out. I've been looking at tubes along the way but wondered if people had recommendations about tubes they like with good, affordable parking.

Westfield! Shepherds Bush.

Actually probably opens too late. Forget that.

The main car park at Westfield or somewhere else? I thought the main car park was at least 9 pounds a day?

It is, but that's cheap!!

If you register for Smart Parking at Westfield you get a slightly reduced rate and you don't have to faff around with the ticket machines as it's taken directly from your credit card.

Look at Boston Manor Park car park - it’s about 5ish minutes walk from Boston Manor Station

Osterley might be an option, I've seen people recommend it as somewhere to park and get the tube into Central London so it would work for Hammersmith too.

Thanks all, I'll look into these if I get the job but at least I know if it is workable now
