Dog constantly hungry

My jack Russell (13) has lately had a very gurgly tummy and excessive and very smelly wind. She usually has a mix of tinned and dried food.
I’ve been advised to change her to a Royal Canin dried easy to digest food so have started the transition. But she is constantly sniffing around for food and hating only having dried. Has anyone else made the transition from wet to dry? How long did it take for your dog to adjust?

Slightly misleading title. Probably should have written something about transitioning to dried. I’m not sure if she’s actually hungry or just not satisfied with the type of food.

You can add water to a dry mix.

I do as one of mine as he has Pancreatitis, the added water aids digestion and seems to fill them up more even though its the same amount if food.

How about feeding her in one of those treat balls? Makes the meal last longer and more interesting.

Oh she has a treat ball but have only ever used it for treats.

I will try adding water. Warm?
