Ds found it in the garden (Scotland). I've never seen anything like it before.

They parasitise Solitary Bee nests by flicking eggs into them.

They still act as pollinators and don't do a huge amount of damage in the great scheme of things.

Saw one on my allotment at the weekend. I can't ever remember seeing one before. Lovely little things...
