Planning to do a ploughmans lunch at the weekend and look for some ideas.

Upto now I have on my shopping list:

Bread
Ham
Cheese
Pork pie
Pickles
Crisps
Cucumber
Cherry tomatoes

Anything I've missed that you put on yours that you would recommend? 🌞

You need a Country Slice for afters!

Butter, salad leaves, hard boiled eggs, potato salad. But it's so bloody cold here today I'm doing beef in beer.

Fruit and a bakewell.

You need a good chutney.

Add apples and picallili to your list and I think you've got everything, but if, as someone else has said, it feels a bit cold for a cold meal, maybe serve some soup too?

Love a ploughmans
Bread - must be crusty
Ham - yes!
Cheese - at least 3 different types
Pork pie - I could leave this off, not a massive fan of pork pie (although put a scotch egg on and I'll be very happy!)
Pickles - pickled onion, pickled egg and gherkin please!
Crisps - lightly salted kettle chips
Cucumber - lots of it
Cherry tomatoes - yes

In addition:
Apple
Grapes
Chutney - caramelised onion and maybe tomato too.
Celery
Radish
