Proxy Sales

Can I lose my job for allowing a proxy sale? It was a momentary lapse in concentration. My supervisor has given me a stern talking to but I’m waiting to hear what the Manager says. It wasn’t alcohol. I love my job & really hope I will be let off with a warning. Very lucky the customer wasn’t a mystery shopper or similar

I believe if it's not alcohol, then it's just going to be your stores policy, you'll need to make sure you've been informed of it and make sure you've been provided all appropriate training on the stores policy, and then it will depend on their disciplinary process. Unfortunately there's not a simple "yes or no" about it.

(There may be other things added than alcohol in recent times, but I don't believe so)
