Ideas for 30th birthday

I’m struggling for ideas for my OH birthday.

Any suggestions welcome.

I could plan a surprise get together either in a function room for 40 people including Buffet for £400.

I could plan a small get together in our house with close family and friends. & then potentially a weekend break to a European city (Rome, Venice?)

Or anything else? I’m really struggling and would like to surprise him with something.

He’s in an IT and loves anything to do with technology. Any new Gadgets etc but I’m clueless.

We had said Italy was the next place we wanted to visit so I could see about booking a weekend there.
