Life feels hopeless

I'm not really sure why I'm making this thread, i think I'd just like someone to listen.

My heath has been on a rapid decline for the last few months. I've always been ill but the last few months I'm so weak I can barely stand.
I have just been diagnosed with Hashimotos but my Doctor won't treat me until I have one more blood test and a scan of my thyroid in three weeks. During my last doctor's appointment he said he thought my symptoms couldn't be that anyway as he had seen people with much lower levels than me not be in as much of a state.
I'm now going for more blood tests for inflammation markers (I think that's what it's called).
It has been six years of feeling like crap everyday and they've only just found the Hashimotos (I also have EDS). I really can't stand it anymore and I'm not sure what to do.
I have to go back to work tomorrow because I have been off for the last month and I'll lose my job if I don't go back but I don't know how I'll handle it or even how I'll get there considering my condition.

Apologies this is so long, thank you if you've made it this far!

How rotten for you.

I think you have to persevere with the final tests and then be more positive about the treatment if the diagnosis is correct. levothyroxine, thyroid hormone replacement medication may make you feel a lot better.

AS for work, you can't go if you are not well enough, you could be making yourself vunerable if you attemlt to travel in.

@Palominoo thank you so much for reading and replying.
I'm terrified of losing my job, it's perfect for me in so many ways but I just don't know what to do.

Can you speak to your Personnel manager or whoever it is at work you need to speak to and tell them that you are awaiting a diagnosis and that will determine your treatment and ability to return to work?

Are you able to do any work tasks from home and if so could suggest them.

I do hope that a diagnosis come quickly along with the right treatment.
