Cleaning lace

I need some advice please! My mum has kindly lent me her wedding veil, which is beautiful - but also very old and a little age-spotted. Does anyone have any tips on cleaning spots out of a delicate lace veil? Thanks!

You may find that that if you clean the spots you'll notice the rest of the veil needs cleaning too.
I'd soak in a bowl of gentle handwash detergent and rinse well first and take it from there.

I'd use old fashioned soap flakes as modern detergents may wreck your mum's veil.
