Summer menus for entertaining... Mix of meat eaters, veggies and kids

We entertain quite a lot but now that the weather is changing, I need to jazz up my menus.

We usually have 6/8 adults and 6 kids from 2 to 14. Kids are generally OK, usual kids fussiness about the odd thing, 2 of the kids are veggie. 4 of the adults are veggies and the rest eat meat.

We're the veggies BTW and I don't mind cooking meat for our guests but don't always (curry night is usually completely veggie).

So, hit me with your ideas please. I have 10for dinner on Saturday and want to mix things up. Was thinking something like

Tabbouleh
Green salad
Homemade rosemary foccacia
And either a tart or something

But it's not inspiring me. Hit me with some inspiration vipers!

This slow roast Persian lamb with pomegranate salad is stunningly. I serve it with couscous. The aubergine bake with feta would compliment it and be a good veggie dish, also served on couscous. www.olivemagazine.com/recipes/vegetarian/persian-aubergine-bake/

You could also go Greek!

We love a spinakopita! I've never really known what to serve it with, so thanks for that recipe.

And I'll check out those other two too. Smile
