I’ve been asked to set up a nurture group in the school I work in a few afternoons a week. I need to come up with a name but I’m stumped!
We already have a sunshine room and a rainbow room.

Please help!

How old are the students?

mummmy2017 · 01/04/2019 16:39

Sunny Room.

Primary I'm guessing? Ks1 or 2?

Myusernameismud · 01/04/2019 16:40

Incidentally, you're not in a school in Kent are you? Town begins with E?

Calixtine · 01/04/2019 16:40

What’s a nurture group?

NWQM · 01/04/2019 16:42

Hope this doesn't sound simplistic but can you ask the children who will be attending? Get them to name their group. Might give your opportunity to help him understand what the group is about etc.

Yes I agree with getting the children to help pick a name. You could always give them a shortlist of three names and get them to vote, a good bit of democracy in action!

Caterpillar room - hopefully they all emerge as butterflies.

The Seedlings. Because you will nurture them and they will grow.

The Compass room

WhatALump · 01/04/2019 17:10

Thank you to all so far!
The group is initially ks1, but we may extend to ks2 if we are successful.

Not in a Kent school though @myusernameismud

I’m loving the compass room idea.

Saplings is also a lovely name for a nurture group.
