What, 2 hrs! Eh!?! Maybe she can't feel pain or something 🤷🏻‍♀️

She was numb from the waist down due to the spinal anaesthesia.

MrsPear · 01/04/2019 21:53

I thought it was dangerous?

3 months after 3rd degree tear - and that was reluctant TBH. Also, sleep takes priority.

I’ve spoken to midwives who gave said it’s nor unheard of on the ward but that it is a flag for an abusive relationship. The thought horrifies me to be honest. I’m nearly 3 weeks post partum, still bleeding a lot and am very much not ready yet physically as I had a big tear and am still recovering.

At 2 hours post delivery, I’d only just been stitched up, had a suppository in, hadn’t yet had a shower and was sat bleeding on a mat shaking while cuddling the baby with the midwives popping in and out.

First attempt at approx 4 months but was unsuccessful as I tensed up - think my body was terrified of having to go through birth again. We didn't try again until 7 months which was ok, although still a little sore and left me uncomfortable. I had an episiotomy which still feels tender at times almost 8 months on.

Possibly about 4 weeks after. I had a c section. I honestly can't remember 😂
