Bloody hell! Realised my ex is married to someone famous!

Hi

I was looking at a post by a pretty successful
Blogger (successful as in 500k plus followers) when I got a sort of kick in the stomach feeling as I realised her husband is my ex (she's got a gushy picture of them on their wedding day)

Now , she's very welcome to him, he treated me and my family really badly, but what has shocked me the most is there's a picture of her with him and their kids who she's named and put ages alongside, which you guessed it were obviously conceived whilst we were still together! Even more hideous is that , their son is called the same name as my late dad......who my ex used to get on with really well, but just ghosted him when my dad told him he didn't have very long to live

Christ almighty ! No words!

Sorry you're right I use the term famous, I did clarify that in using that term she has more than 500k followers

I found this out yesterday. Sadly not an April fools, just didn't have anyone to discuss with IRL

Now I've looked through other posts of hers it seems her eldest (named after after my late dad) is in actual fact her stepson , so he got someone else knocked up whilst we were together. Even better

I'm not going to do anything about it , I'm just cringing for her at the things she's saying about him . X

500k+ followers for a blogger is actually very high. I can only think of MOD who has that.

Did you have kids together? Did you live together?

HappyGirl86 · 01/04/2019 17:23

Who is MOD?

thinkingcapon · 01/04/2019 17:25

No we didn't have kids and no we didn't live together. We were together 6 years after uni

Mother of Daughters (but not her, she has 4 daughters).
If you weren't living together maybe he was having the affair with you rather than the other way round?

thinkingcapon · 01/04/2019 17:32

Maybe ballbags, we spent at least 5 nights together a week for years. He lived with his brother, we would spend the other nights at either his flat or his parents . We also worked together so tricky if I was the other woman.

Totally irrelevant to the thread but the penny has just dropped regarding your username "thinking cap on". Initially I thought "thinking capon" i.e. a capon which thinks. As you were.

Coffeebean76 · 01/04/2019 21:09

If he is the birth Dad that means he got custody... doesn’t really sound like the kind of man who would (unless there were serious concerns about ththe child’s natural mother). It’s all a bit confusing.... wonder if you could find out for sure if he’s the Dad.

StealthPolarBear · 01/04/2019 21:14

Op is suggesting he is the father of these children with his current wife I think
Custody doesn't come into jt

JugzyMalone · 01/04/2019 21:15

My ex is married to someone properly famous who doesn't have an Instagram 😎 they don't have kids though

Hollowvictory · 01/04/2019 21:17

Jygzy, is it Theresa May?

origamiunicorn · 01/04/2019 21:17

Was interested til I read 'famous blogger' and I follow plenty of photographers with more followers than that, do not sure how that qualifies as famous. Popular maybe but nothing to write home, or in an article, about.

ballsdeep · 01/04/2019 21:21

Part time working mummy?

Horehound · 01/04/2019 21:22

Mrs hinch? Zzzzzzz

KimchiLaLa · 01/04/2019 21:24

I wouldn't say a blogger is famous, OP.

thinkingcapon · 02/04/2019 12:18

Ok well ignore the terminology in the title, it's just a bit of a shock that my "first true love" had got someone else pregnant whilst we were together and his wife is posting embarrassingly gushy messages about her husband as a father and husband......when he's obviously not the full package !

OP posts:
Ilovemysleepthief · 02/04/2019 12:25

Who is she?

thinkingcapon · 02/04/2019 12:56

I'm hardly going to name her am I?!

Strokethefurrywall · 02/04/2019 14:45

and his wife is posting embarrassingly gushy messages about her husband as a father and husband......

Given she probably doesn't know his history with you, there is nothing embarrassing about her gushing. Maybe he is a good husband and father?

I genuinely have no idea who these people are by the way, because I don't live in the UK and give even less of a shit about bloggers. It must be awkward for you, I get that, but he may be a changed person.

spanishwife · 02/04/2019 15:11

Name her!!! Why not?! Or at least give us clues

spanishwife · 02/04/2019 15:15

I think bloggers with more than 500k are famous. In the same way that a news presenter, athlete or singer is. Consider viewing stats, concert ticket sales etc. More than half a million people are 'following' with many of those engaging with the content on a daily basis.
People are naming well-known ones here e.g. part time mummy who only has 100k.

thinkingcapon · 02/04/2019 15:46

I'd never name her .......nor would I ever post on her page! Maybe he is a changed man......(I think his 6 ex fiancées after me and his 17 girlfriends before me might beg to differ!)

He was always incredibly materialistic so he should do pretty well out of her. She's super hot, he's not......so he's totally punching! X

pazwaz70 · 02/04/2019 17:26

Aww bloody hell, now I've got to trawl through Instagram later.
Might make it easier with a glass of wine!

Ballbags · 02/04/2019 18:34

It's got to be someone properly famous. Even people like Mylene Klass and Denise Van Buren only have about 300k followers.
