Hi

I was looking at a post by a pretty successful
Blogger (successful as in 500k plus followers) when I got a sort of kick in the stomach feeling as I realised her husband is my ex (she's got a gushy picture of them on their wedding day)

Now , she's very welcome to him, he treated me and my family really badly, but what has shocked me the most is there's a picture of her with him and their kids who she's named and put ages alongside, which you guessed it were obviously conceived whilst we were still together! Even more hideous is that , their son is called the same name as my late dad......who my ex used to get on with really well, but just ghosted him when my dad told him he didn't have very long to live

Christ almighty ! No words!

My friends ex is married to a famous TV presenter. He's bisexual. She never mentions that in interviews 😂

Just out of curiosity, what’s so funny about that? Is there something wrong with a woman being married to a bisexual man?

Hahah what an absurd comment! Could you imagine 'yes I am married to a lovely man - by the way he likes men too!!! so.. my recent project on...'

spanishwife · 01/04/2019 14:12

OP give us age, hair colour, recent brand collab please!

SileneOliveira · 01/04/2019 14:14

A blogger with 500k followers isn't "famous".

BroomstickOfLove · 01/04/2019 14:16

Why would someone mention that their spouse was bisexual, unless it was a direct question? I don't think I've ever heard a TV presenter mentioning that their spouse was heterosexual.

MadameDD · 01/04/2019 14:21

spanishwife and planesinthesky - obviously the male celeb has a "touch of the gay" (joke!) due to him being bisexual and he wouldn't want that to come out would he (probably wouldn't GAF!).

spanishwife - a quick trawl of OP's posts reveal medical worker, I think, but seems legit. Wink

My DB's friend's SO is a fairly successful blogger and I know someone else who does this in a trendy part of London (nah not Deptford!) - I mean they make money and all out of this but with the first person - she used to have a 'proper' career (I'm not dissing bloggers!) before she made/makes money from blogging.

Now here's the thing - I've been told (fuck knows why, I just like it) - I'm great with fashion for me and others etc and I should blog. But I can't think of anything worse - I'd rather pluck my own fingernails off without anaesthetic. Grin I really do think you need to be a special kind of person to do this and I'm not that person. Wink

Badtasteflump · 01/04/2019 14:22

Ha ha yes I'll have to remember that sexual preferences are public info next time I'm introducing my DH to somebody - 'This is Mr Flump - he loves a good spoon on a Sunday morning' Grin

FizzyGreenWater · 01/04/2019 14:31

Oh I thought you meant actually famous

JingsMahBucket · 01/04/2019 14:37

Why are people pandering for names? Why on earth do you think or would you want the OP to out herself that much??

Sparklingbrook · 01/04/2019 14:41

I feel even with a name most of us would be 'who?' Grin

SeventhWave · 01/04/2019 14:42

Blogger = not famous.

Sparklingbrook · 01/04/2019 14:43

500k followers=not very famous as a blogger?

MadameDD · 01/04/2019 14:47

JingsMahBucket - personally I'm not that interested (just bored WFH!) - probably an April Fool's Day Joke - but as is always the way with 'celeb posts' you'll get people fascinated because that's just life innit, to be curious in a nobody's life. Grin

MadameDD · 01/04/2019 14:49

Sparklingbrook - I can name Zoella and Lisa Eldridge (is that her surname?!) the celeb bloggers but apart from that no.

I read through a few of the blogs today and got the sicky feeling rise up in my throat which I usually attribute to morning sickness these days...

Badtasteflump · 01/04/2019 14:50

I do like Lisa Eldridge - but presumably she was famous as a v successful make-up artist way before she became vlogger-famous?

MadameDD · 01/04/2019 14:53

Badtasteflump - Lisa Eldridge does have 2 sons... could be her... her DH seems to be famous though.

If the DH is famous does this mean OP is trying to drop hints as to how important/well known she is, due to her ex-SO being famous?!

spanishwife · 01/04/2019 14:58

Lisa Eldrige isn't just a 'blogger', she's the creative director at Lancome, an extremely successful makeup artist and entrepreneur and she has a Youtube channel on the side. She donates all revenue made from Youtube to a water charity. Sorry I just love Lisa Eldridge (can you tell), definitely not her.

spanishwife · 01/04/2019 15:24

500k for a 'mum' blogger is loads! I'm trying to find who it could be but all the famous mum ones I know are less than 100k!

pepinana · 01/04/2019 15:35

We need to know who it is :)

MadameDD · 01/04/2019 15:38

spanishwife - I rate Lisa Eldridge far more than Zoella - I suppose different age ranges, similar goals. I didn't think it would be her but have to narrow down those who may be in a similar age range (not sure how old OP is) and with sons!

GabsAlot · 01/04/2019 15:45

yeah course you are

oh and im famous aswell

spanishwife · 01/04/2019 16:01

Lisa Eldridge has a well established career and films to share her knowledge and expertise. Zoella is a woman with a camera filming herself throwing sleepovers.

Badtasteflump · 01/04/2019 16:52

Blimey I wasn’t suggesting it was Lisa Eldridge! I suspect it’s all bull anyway, but aside from that, Lisa Eldridge is way more than a ‘blogger’ and has millions of followers - as well as a ‘real’ career...

SeventhWave · 01/04/2019 16:56

The word 'famous' is seriously over-used these days isn't it?

Filibustering · 01/04/2019 17:01

Grin Indeed.
