Football kit for a "girly" girl.

I know, I know, not pc. All girls are girly but you know what I mean. DD has decided she wants to do football but doesn't want "boys clothes". Where's the best place to source girls kit. Purple, pink and light green are her current favourites. Red, blue, dark green and black she has refused. Sparkles a bonus 🙄 Someone take pity on me. Pleeeeease!

Loads of pretty pink ones if you just type in "pink football kit" into google shopping. I'm sure it'll work for the other colours too?
Places like sports direct I'm sure have pink football boots too

If you google there are various pink kits available - not sure if it matters whether it's for a particular team?

Cross post.

All the football boots at the moment are purple, hot pink, lime green.

ChocolateCrisp · 01/04/2019 09:30

Not near me they're not! All black, blue or red. I'm a bit of an idiot though, was just searching the shops near me rather than ordering online!

What size shoe is she?

TheQueef · 01/04/2019 09:33

If she's joining a team they will already have a strip.

Dortmund have a yellow and black kit, pretty gender neutral. Man City have a purple kit, as so Liverpool, Man U, Tottenham have green. You need to be looking for away kits and third kits to get the differenclt colour choices.

eBay is a great source for kits. We've have the £12 ones from China and are all decent quality

Man uniteds away kit is pink.

Stokes away kit is pink and might be a bit cheaper than other teams kit.

lastqueenofscotland · 01/04/2019 12:06

Not pink sorry, stokes is purple

BarbaraofSevillle · 01/04/2019 12:34

Yes, if she is playing in a team, surely she has to play in the team colours, which may or may not be her favourites. Also if she has a favourite professional team, they will already have a kit.

Or a team she hates or is unpopular in your area may have a kit in a colour she likes, but she won't wear that because it is the 'wrong' team.

Huddersfield have a bright yellow away kit. Going cheap after Saturday's result and relegation. Confused

Have a look at local teams though, many will have this year's kit heavily discounted and the change strips are often pink, purple, white etc.

ChocolateCrisp · 01/04/2019 12:53

She hasn't a favourite professional team because football is something that doesn't feature in our household! I'd be surprised if she knew anything other than the national team. She doesn't have to wear a team kit because it's a 6 month intro to football course and, as far as I'm aware, they don't play matches.

Celtic's 3rd kit a couple of seasons ago was bright pink.
