Returning a product bought in a multibuy

I bought perfume from Superdrug yesterday in their buy 1 get 1 half price offer. Both perfumes were £26 so I paid £39. I want to return one, sealed and unused, how much would I get back? I can't find clear answers online. Would it be half the cost - so £19.50, or would it be the cost of the lowest so £13?

£13 I would say.

Take both! When I did retail, for anything like this we would have to refund them both and then re sell the one the customer did want. I would expect otherwise that they'd just refund the £13. Definitely take both though, incase it's an otherwise wasted trip.

I would imagine you would get 13 quid back, the product was never on sale for 19.50.

When i worked in retail, we couldn't return one without the other.

Well, I would assume £13. You only got the first one reduced because of the second one. If you'd just gone in and bought the one you want, it would have cost you £26.

They won’t give you half, or everyone would do it!

MamaRaisingBoys · 31/03/2019 20:23

You’ll get the difference between the full price of the one you want and the price you paid for the 2. Some places will want you to take both back and repurchase

Why not take it back and find out? If 26 is too much for the other one return them both.
