My DM have been estranged for a number of years due to my stbxh. This was the first time I had been allowed to send a card etc. I spent Friday night to Sunday morning with my parents. I got a card from my Dds and bought her a card. I got her a plant/flowers from M&Sa and chocolates. Then took her out for dinner last night. It's was amazing. Reality today was taking my Dds out for lunch and to give them the money to buy me a card but no worries. Lovely day

Nice day here too. DH looked after the toddler and let me sleep in, then met family for a lovely lunch. DH put her to bed too. Just settling down now for a cup of tea and Line of Duty.

So you're saying your DH wouldn't let you talk to your DM? I'm presuming as they fell out and he wanted you to side with him?

I has a lovely day too!

Had a lie in, breakfast in bed then lunch out. Flowers, balloon, card from DH and DS and MIL and a voucher for a massage and a facial.

Stbxh? How soon? The sooner the better. Glad you had a nice day OP, but a sad back story.

Lochnessgiraffe · 31/03/2019 22:02

It's now 7 months and my parents can see. Me again. After 15 years of physical emotional sexual and just torment. No controlling no access to the outside world. But now I'm free. My parents would do anything to keep me safe. I've got a good job and I need to protect it.

OMZ that sounds horrific. Stay safe.

Lovely sunny start to the day...and a dowsing day on sacred sites of Siberia...no, it isn’t under ten feet of snow all year ..and then home to my ten family with lovely cards and gifts

I do think about all those people who haven’t got mums, haven’t got lovely mums, lost kids or had them taken away and given to abusive ex by family court system.

It must be so hard. It’s just become more and more explosive for a day which started with servants going back home for one day for some mothering.

It’s become a circus.
