I’ve done the classic Sunday ‘stay at home, then realise after everything’s closed that you should have done something’. Listening to a few new albums, going to do a face mask and pedicure in a bit.

What do you do to combat the Sunday Blues?

I get out of the house just before 8, go for a walk, drive to the beach or even ikea (more or less the same thing 😁). Then head back home and spend the day sorting something that need to be fixed.

If I stay in bed past 9:30, I do nothing but thinking I am wasting my life while sitting in bed checking the internet hour after hour.

Watching Frasier always makes me laugh. If you have Netflix, The Good Place is great. Or google natural face masks and make one out of whats in your kitchen Grin

Notsure I wasn't aware there were 2' 8 o'clocks' on a Sunday!!

Make a tasty packed lunch for Monday so you have something to look forward to. Organise what you’re going to wear so you save a few minutes in the morning (extra lie-in time). Have a bubble bath - I have a bath caddy I can prop my iPad up on and watch a show at the same time which I love!

There is only one, Chocolate, the morning one. The second one is totally redundant. 😁

Bake cookies
Baking always cheers me up.
Crap for the whole staying slim plan I have , but fills my heart with joy and makes the house smell wonderful

Oh yes, a bath is a perfect Sunday evening treat.

Another one I’ve thought of, writing a list of everything achieved that week, even small things. E.g. my list this week includes hitting 10,000 steps every day and not spending anything on coffee or snacks.

I take a glass of Baileys and the iPad to the bath. Lots of bubbles and an episode of The West Wing. Bliss.

Felt a bit stressy today, made a few doughnuts

Sing and dance in the kitchen where nobody can see or hear me.

Listen to guided relaxation (YouTube)

Candlelit bath listening to a podcast and drinking a glass of wine

Rockbird · 01/04/2019 21:18

I go for a drive and sing along to music at the top of my voice.

PlainVanilla · 01/04/2019 21:21

Drink copious amounts of 10 year old malt whisky.
Which actually does not work. I am always cheerful.
Cheers.
