What annoys you about internet?

Other than the obvious awful things like cyber bullying etc which will not be exclusive to most of us as most of us hate it and would never take part.

My bugbears: I waste my own time watching shite. (Not the fault of anyone but me).

Videos making ice cream on a frozen plate. Irritating as fuck

Videos of people making a cake where they hack so much of it away they're left with a small mound of cake which they then cover in 20lbs of buttercream and fondant icing. Make my teeth hurt just looking at them.

Inspirational quotes 'she's a fighter, she don't need no man' bollocks.

I don't need to put on this post do I? 😉

Just being expected to know, do and understand things because of the facility to 'google it' or watch a you tube tutorial.

Influencers and that sort of shit. I don't watch them and perhaps I missed a trick. But frankly I'm not going to watch videos of someone's 'family life' so they can sell me the newest fabric conditioner or whatever.

Yes I struggle with the 'just watch a clip on youTube' of how to do it which would end up virtually stripping some electrical item and rebuilding it.

Mummy/lifestyle bloggers with pictures of manicured hands holding mugs/wine glasses or pictures of the back of their family, oh and a downward shot of their shoes for some reason.

It's too easy for me to procrastinate.

Influencers and that sort of shit.

Genuinely don't understand this stuff. These self-proclaimed influencers which seem to genuinely have some kind of hold over their followers. It's beyond bizarre.

To be fair I did manage to fix my boiler a couple of weeks ago via google and YouTube! Although it was a minor problem, not a major repair. I’ve never got the whole influencers thing either. I loathe all inspirational quotes. For me the worst thing about the internet has been the men on dating sites! I know some people strike lucky but I have wasted so much time chatting to and meeting men who weren’t worth it. I’ve given up now, and I’m happier for it!

The YouTube rabbit hole, sucks in hours of my life
