Not even sure if this is possible amd is very much hypothetical musings atm...
Currently live with dp in a semi detached house, mortage is in his name. The person in the connecting house is elderly, and we have mentioned the possibility in the future to buy that house too if it went up for sale, and create a giant house.
If i were to buy the second house, mortgage in my name, would we be able to connect the houses, despite then2 seperate mortgages in different names? Or would we both have to be on both mortgages?
