I am feeling quite down at the mo ( hormone related mostly) so thought I would start a positive thread. In the next few weeks I plan to :-
Revamp my hairstyle & get some advice on a new colour. I have gone for reds for ages but hopefully returning to brunette
Start exercise classes, including Pilates
Borrow some piano music from the library & play like I used to
Book a hot stone massage
See friends as I have been a bit of a hermit
Explore the stunning gardens locally before all the Spring flowers are past their best
Use my slow cooker more
Look at new bathroom suites etc
Cut down on my wine intake
Plan the itinerary for our UK holiday
Watch less rubbish tv
Plan regular date nights with DH

I’m going for my lazer hair removal next week. Finally at the age of 41.
Going to a skin clinic to get my acne sorted too.
Making more effort to cook and bake.
Making time for each of my children alone and have some bonding time.
Buy a nice gift for my mum she’s been very down lately.

I too have a UK itinerary to plan! Smile My children have been to so few places, it's a bit shameful, so want to do a huge sweep up to Scotland this summer and show them just how beautiful their country is.
I'm going to stop having two breakfasts every day Blush - I've been ridiculously busy, and it has crept in as a habit, but my waistline says it needs to stop!
I bought myself a lovely reusable coffee cup in January, so I could take coffees in the school run, or take advantage of the free Waitrose coffee... I haven't used it once Blush
I'm going to use it Monday morning.

Me! I’m going to get started on a piece of work I’ve been avoiding - which will help me enormously. I’m also going to book a massage and facial for next week. I’m also going to have an afternoon of reading and sewing just to catch my breath a bit.

I started last week on the run upto my birthday.
Some skin treatment, teeth whitening, dentist, hygenist, opticians all done. It was like giving myself an MOT lol

Now im trying to notice who i feel good around, comfortable and open.

My plan this year is to surround myself with people where im comfortable.

Ive always tried to make mysrlf fit in and blaming myself for feeling out of place.
