Week 8-9 pregnant and bleeding heavily *Trigger warning - miscarriage*

Started 8weeks 3 days with light spotting - brown, pink in colour and only when wiping. Then it progressed to light bleeding so I had an early scan st 8 weeks 5days. It showed that the baby was in the womb, strong heartbeat and everything looked normal.
Today I am 9 weeks 2days and since the scan the bleeding has become heavy and stayed heavy for 3 days now.

I am aware it can be fine but also aware it could be threatened miscarriage. I am to return if bleeding continues was 1 week after my scan.

How long am I going to be bleeding for?!
Obviously no one knows but has anyone else had this?

Also I have become v constipated last 2days and severe trapped wind pains.

I think you should get medical attention now. Phone out of hours if you are not sure.
A friend had a miscarriage at 8 weeks and needed a transfusion.
I am sorry this is happening.
It might not be a miscarriage, but heavy bleeding is risky.

You need to phone the midwives/ early pregnancy unit. This is a change since your scan and you need to seek new medical advice, please phone and do tell them everything xx

You need to get medical attention, sorry OP.

I’ve had a miscarriage. The whole sac came out in a big clump nearly size of golf ball but oval. I scooped it up and opened it and saw my baby.
In a way I’m glad I know now but obviously sad news. In shock with baby in my hand it’s like kidney bean size.
I’m away at a girls weekend which isn’t god timing

Thank you!
I’ve told some of them. Also phoned nhs24 so I’ll go to EPAU when I’m home to have it confirmed/ have my health checked.
The pains have gone and bleeding still there but lighter.
Thanks for the support at such a shocking and unknown time!

Three things will last forever - faith, hope and love - the greatest of these is love.
