MIL is fretting about loosing an hours sleep. She does it every year.

She doesn’t have to get up for anything and doesn’t set an alarm.

Also feels sorry for us as the kids will be tired due to losing an hours sleep.

I can never seem to explain it to her so I have given up.

The EU is proposing an end to the nonsense of winter time, so at least 27 countries won't have to plunge themselves into darkness each October and have the loss of one hour's sleep each March. Let us hope we follow suit.
