Are there any 1st or 2nd generation Latina mums around?
A couple of girls at our school have said how their mums are incredibly strict and yell all the time at them “because they are from” Venezuela/Colombia. Apparently in the UK we “don’t understand”.
Is there a big culture difference between parenting / discipline? I had always imagined them to be incredibly laid back... certainly when I’ve met them they have been absolutely lovely.
I know you can’t generalise or stereotype but I am interested in what the culture is for those who might know.
