Just that really. I'm looking to spice up my tea life. Grin

Teapigs. Apple and Cinnamon, Winter Spice. I am not normally a fan of stinky tea, but those two are great.

le42 · 30/03/2019 14:13

Pukka do this really nice blend - it's called Night blend I think, in a blue box. Tastes like the tea you get at a spa !

JuniperBeer · 30/03/2019 14:17

Twinings are on offer for £1.25 a box atm in most places so have a pick of a few!
I like spiced apple and chamomile - it’s like apple pie!
Strawberry and mango
I like flavoured green tea too. Cherry bakewell and lemon drizzle green tea.
Green tea with coconut and mango
I find berry ones quite acidic.

I drink lots of herbal/fruit teas but avoid anything with hibiscus in. This means most of the red coloured ones are out (but I don't mind as I find those quite bitter anyway).
Recently discovered that the loose leaf tea from IKEA is rather nice, and I do enjoy a Vanilla Chai, and a rooibos Chai which are both not too far away from a standard cuppa (you can add milk/sugar as you would a normal tea if that is your preference). Chamomile and Lavender tea from M&S is a good night time drink, and I like nettle tea with mint for a bit of an energy boost.

The Indigo Herbs range is lovely if you use a tea strainer or herbal tea pot with a diffuser in. Actual flowers, leaves and seeds as opposed to the flavoured dust in a tea bag! Their lemon and ginger, and their sleep deep are both lovely.

TheEmojiFormerlyKnownAsPrince · 30/03/2019 14:26

Manuka honey and ginger. Mmmmm

Constantsarechanging · 30/03/2019 15:01

Peppermint, jasmine, green tea with fruit.. pear and apple/blackberry/pomegranate, three ginger, raspberry and echinacea, manuka and ginger. Enjoy!

LowLifeOpinions · 30/03/2019 15:56

Bengal Spice (by Celestial Seasonings) is amazing. AMAZING.

I also love pukka teas spicy ones - gingery, cinnamony and licoricy ones.

Fruit and herb ones are okay but a bit bland, I find.

Enko · 30/03/2019 16:04

What sort of flavours do you like OP? I drink a lot of herbal tea but what 1 person like another will feel tastes like poison.

NoShoeShops · 30/03/2019 16:05

I drink endless cups of peppermint tea.

BlankTimes · 30/03/2019 16:56

I like the Pukka company and they have so much variety.

Tulsi Clarity is a lovely herby flavour, herbal but different.
Three Mint and Three Ginger are great for after food.
Love has to brew for ages and it's a really subtle flavour.
Chamomile, Vanilla and Manuka Honey is a nice restful one, it also contains fennel so has a hint of aniseed-y aroma.

This time of year, look for young nettle-shoots, harvest just the tops for a lovely spring tonic. Do not go near any unless you know they haven't been weedkillered or pesticided.

If you grow mint, try a variety with the red stems, the leaves make lovely tea.

I was given a giftbox of sample size teas from the Spice Kitchen, it's nice to have a selection to try.

Middlrm · 30/03/2019 16:59

Very Berry from lidles is nice and cheap... you can do a pick n mix with twining tea online if you like ... great way to trial different flavours and see where your palate sits ... they do it where you can pick the flavours or a they do a pack with a nice selection x x

buzzbobbly · 30/03/2019 17:08

Get down your local Chinese supermarket and get some proper jasmine tea (and a pot and the handle-less cups if you can).

It's delicious and a lovely alternative to normal tea. I often have a pot on the go during conference calls.

Chrysanthemum tea is horrid though. Don't get that!

Celeriacacaca · 30/03/2019 22:16

Pukka do a selection box so you can try different blends. I love the aniseed and have discovered the ginger one too.

AngeloMysterioso · 30/03/2019 23:22

Twinnings buttermint is lovely, it tastes like Murray mints

poglets · 30/03/2019 23:36

I like banana tea, although I think it is meant to be for children 🤷‍♀️

Clawdy · 30/03/2019 23:36

Twining's Cherry and Cinnamon is lovely, not as acidic as some of the fruit ones.

ThunderStorms · 30/03/2019 23:45

Teapigs liquorice and peppermint.

In fact get a teapigs sample box - select anything that takes your fancy.

HabbyHadno · 30/03/2019 23:47

The Clipper Berry one is lovely.

fruitbrewhaha · 30/03/2019 23:50

YES ME, I LOVE A FRUITBREW!

Lemon and ginger is my fave, and peppermint.

GarethSouthgatesWaistcoat · 30/03/2019 23:50

I hate most fruit tea - I prefer mint tea, spiced tea and chai.

I thought liquorice tea would be disgusting but it's actually my new favourite. It doesn't taste like liquorice allsorts, just a nice warming flavour!

Pukka do a peppermint and liquorice but Asda do a version for 74p that's virtually identical!
here

Asda also have some other weird and wonderful flavours in their 74p range (type in 'Asda 20 teabags' in the search bar). I tried the Apple Crumble and Rhubarb and Custard flavours but they weren't quite my cup of tea (!)
A bit too artificial/sweet for my taste but they smelled nice Blush

I have Pukka Three Cinnamon on the go which I also like.

ErrolTheDragon · 30/03/2019 23:52

Sainsbury's Caramel Rooibos 'Malty South African rooibos blended with warming sweet cinnamon and enriched with hints of caramel and vanilla'.

OldLadyKnee · 30/03/2019 23:53

I am gutted that Taylor’s seem to have stopped doing their Sweet Mint Green Tea. It was bloody lovely.

I like Buttermint of an evening too.

AGnu · 30/03/2019 23:55

I love a fennel tea when I've got indigestion. I'd drink it all the time but it's like my special treat when my belly hurts. It wouldn't be so special if I had it all the time. Yes, I know I'm weird... Grin
