Shall I go to town today?

Or on Monday?

I need a few bits for my Rainbows and Guides for the last two weeks of term. Dd2 needs school tights. And, I wanted to get a few small Easter bits plus the girls eggs with their names on from Thorntons.

Currently, I'm sitting at my kitchen table drinking coffee. I've been here since just before 9am, so should really decide or shift my arse and do something!

Yes,you should! I'm champing at the bit as I had to arrange a redelivery today. Once the post man has been, I'm off!

Monday!! I love a week day off work and being able to shop during the week

Monday- less busy. Our local town will be full of people shopping for mother’s day and general weekend bustle

lucysmam · 30/03/2019 11:18

@UtterlyDesperate what are you shopping for?

I think Monday wins here! I still haven't moved (going to in a minute though) and the girls are off shopping for something for mother's day, with their dad so I don't want to end up bumping into them.

I need a sympathy card, some salad and a bunch of daffs - nothing earth-shattering, but going before 11 on a Saturday is bliss as the streets are quieter than in the week round here.

But depending on where you are, Monday will probably be quieter more generally, OP. And you won't interrupt Mothers' Day shopping. So I've changed my mind - have another coffee and enjoy the quiet! Brew
