Make ahead brunch ideas?

I have my mum and mil coming for brunch on sunday after mass, we will be home around 1030 and both are going to other siblings for a late lunch.

Any ideas for a make ahead late breakfast / brunch or shall just chuck a load of naice sausages in the oven and do sausage baguettes?!

Do they both like sausages? I can't stand the things...the nice ones are always too herby and give me indigestion!

What about something like cheese muffins or scones which you can warm up, served with scrambled eggs, wholegrain toast and a selection of fruit?

Eggs take seconds...you can posh them up with some avocado on the side.

A nice oven baked frittata - bake before church and leave to cool. It's often nicer 'room temperature' anyway!

I would do scrambled eggs and smoked salmon on nice toasted bread. Takes five minutes to put together.

frittata is a great idea, can do a couple of different ones

Mmmm smoked salmon! It's lighter than my muffin suggestion. Do that OP....especially if they're going for lunch afterwards.

Ooh frittata is a great idea, thank you!
