Have you ever used a personal shopper at Selfridges or similar?

If so, what was it like? Did you love any of the clothes?

Thinking of doing this to get some new perspectives on things that might suit me, for work especially.

I went to one at John Lewis a long time ago. She was very nice and I tried some things that I wouldn't have taken off the rack otherwise, and it was nice to have a go at something new. I bought quite a lot, but did end up taking some stuff back after I got home and realised in reality I probably wouldn't wear it - despite the enthusiasm in the changing room

I think it can be a bit variable though. My sister then tried it at a different branch and the woman there didn't seem to interested, so maybe go to one recommended by word of mouth? But it was fun, and I normally loathe shopping for clothes! Good luck.

That's the draw, to be pleasantly surprised with trying on things I'd never think of trying
