Advice about my bush please!

My garden bush! My wall surrounds my garden so runs up the side of my neigbours (very narrow) drive. She keeps complaining that my hedge stops her using her drive as it grows out a bit but higher up than her car is. I cut it for her when we first moved in 18 months ago to try and keep things friendly but she is complaining again. She never put her car on her drive when I cut it!

I feel she should cut the bits on her side as I have to go into her garden to cut the hedge. She has now spoke about removing part of our wall as it stops her using her drive!

Am I in the right here or is she. Should I be cutting my hedge in her garden?

I trim my neighbours bush for her when it gets too unkempt.

I think you should be cutting the hedge, as long as your neighbour is OK with you going on her property.

The bush fine, it is tricky to leave a drive when you can't see. The wall? Tell her maybe a couple of refresher lessons on parking might help her.

I wouldn’t feel comfortable trimming someone else’s bush without permission. Could you let her know she could trim it back or don’t you want her touching your bush?

I would ask her if she gives you permission to access her drive regularly to cut the bush and then do it, as for the wall id tell her to piss right of unless she wants the bill to put it back up!

Thanks all! Will cut her bush when I do mine. And will be keeping my eye on my wall. We’ve only been here 18 months. She lived there when the wall was put up and I’ve a feeling she’s fought with every neighbour that’s lived in our house! She doesn’t like walls and fences but we like our privacy.
