Food steamer

Lidl has hit my part of Europe! Lidl food steamer on sale! Do I need one? We are vegetarians. Will I use it or will it just block space in my tiny Soviet-type kitchen?
The bits on top look plastic, not glass.
Any thoughts?

I found an electric one incredibly useful in my micro kitchen, as I could put all the veggies on to cook whilst I dealt with the other ingredients on the hob and it would keep them warm until everything was ready to dish up.
